General Rules, Regulations and Guidelines for an Enjoyable Experience.

Welcome to River Vista RV Village! It is our greatest wish that your stay with us will be a fun, safe and peaceful experience. Please accept the following guidelines and rules as a means to maintain the peaceful order of the community. Enjoy your stay!

Main Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm; Saturdays, 9am – 1pm; Sundays, closed.
Summer Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 3pm; Saturdays & Sundays, closed.
Check-in: 1PM.
Check-Out: 11AM.
Quiet Hours: 10:00pm – 7:30am.

Reservation Procedure: All sites are first come, first serve. Specific site reservations are available for extended stay guests only (4 or more consecutive months).
Visitors/Guests: All rates are for 2 people. Extra overnight guests must be pre-registered in the office. The extra person charge is $5/night.
Under-Aged Guests: Guests can stay a maximum of 14 days per calendar year. All guests under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult throughout the Resort at all times.
Facilities/Pool: Use of the Resort’s facilities, including recreation amenities, buildings, pools and other facilities, is limited to residents, registered guests or visitors only. Please read all posted Pool safety guidelines before entering the water. NO LIFEGUARD IS ON DUTY AT ANY TIME- USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Please shower before entering the water. Outdoor Pool – Children under 18 years of age must be supervised by an adult at all times. No diapers permitted, only approved “swimmies” are allowed. NO GLASS, SMOKING OR PETS ALLOWED IN POOL AREAS. Approved service animal allowed on pool deck, not in pool.
USE BOAT RAMP, DOCKS AND FISHING PIER AT YOUR OWN RISK.

RV Site: On each site, RV guests are allowed one (1) road-ready RV, up to 2 vehicles (1 may be a golf cart or motorcycle). All vehicles must be parked on the site you are renting. For RV guests staying 6 months or less, outside storage units are not allowed. Tow-behind storage trailers are permitted but must fit under your rig or must be parked in storage at an additional fee. All road vehicles must have a current license and registration. Picnic tables must remain on assigned site. Do not put grills on picnic tables. No parking on the grass if you are on a concrete site.
Site Maintenance: Sites must be kept clean and neat at all times. Resort management, at its sole discretion, will determine if site is being maintained up to community standards.
Landscaping/Lawn Care: The park provides free lawn mowing service. The park will not assume responsibility to any garden beds around the RV/PM, lawn ornaments or light fixtures in the part of the yard to be mowed by park.
Golf Carts and other off-road vehicles: Children under 16 years of age may not operate/drive golf carts or off-road vehicles in the community, even if accompanied by an adult. Lights required after dusk and before dawn.

Speed Limit: The speed limit throughout the resort is 10 mph.

Night-Time Guidelines: When walking after dark, please wear light colored clothing or clothing with light sensitive strips, carry a flashlight or other illumination and walk against traffic. If riding a bicycle after dark, it must have an operating head lamp and rear reflector.  Make yourself visible to all traffic and follow all vehicular traffic rules.

Garbage/Trash: Compactor is located in maintenance area.   Remember, only household garbage in bags is to be deposited in the compactor.  All leaves, palm scraps & grass clippings must be placed roadside for Thursday pick-up.

Laundromat: The Resort has 1 laundromat for your convenience. Washers and dryers are maintenances by a 3rd party vendor. Please notify the office if the facilities are not clean or inoperative. Refunds are refunded by 3rd party. No refunds will be made in the office.

Bathhouse: to be used at your own risk, floors maybe wet. Please notify a team member if the area is untidy.

Clotheslines: Clothes lines are not permitted on RV sites; Temporary drying racks may be used to dry swim wear and/or towels.

Pets: 2 pets per site. Pets are welcome in the community, however, keep in mind that not everyone thinks your pet is as adorable as you do.  Pets must always be on a leash (6-foot maximum, if retractable) and under the control of owner at all times. Please pick up after your pets. Aggressive or vicious breeds, noisy or unruly pets are not permitted.  Consult the Resort Map for the location of the Dog Walk Areas. No electric fences are permitted. Owners must be with pet and pet must be on a leash while outside of your unit.

No Firearms or Fireworks: Discharge of Firearms and Fireworks are not permitted in the Resort at any time.

Ground Fires: No open ground fires are permitted, however raised fire pits are allowed with the use of a spark reducing cover.  Open fires subject to County restrictions

Sewer Collars: Sewer collars are required by the State on all units.

Lot Enhancement: RV sites may not be altered without prior approval by Resort Management.

Vehicle Maintenance: Minor maintenance is permitted; however, no mechanical repair work is allowed on-site.

RV/Vehicle Washing: RV/vehicle washing is permissible on- site subject to local government watering restrictions.  Check with the office for up to date restrictions.

Flags/Signs:

Guests may display one portable, removable, cloth or plastic United States flag, not larger than 4 ½ feet by 6 feet, in a respectful manner in or on their home.  On Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, flag day, Independence Day and Veterans Day, Residents may also display in a respectful way portable, removable official flags, not larger than 4 ½ feet by 6 feet, that represents the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard.  No other flags may be displayed on the home or in the yard.

Fishing: Fishing is allowed off the pier behind the clubhouse all other fishing requires a Florida Fishing License.

Smoking: Smoking or Vaping is not permitted in any public building. “Butt” containers are available outside of buildings.  No smoking or vaping within 25’ of building entrances.

No Solicitation: Soliciting for any reason is not permitted in the Resort.

Business Operations: Any person who accepts any form of consideration in exchange for goods & services is considered a “Commercial Enterprise”.  All Commercial Enterprises must be registered with the office prior to performing any work on this property.

Conduct: Be courteous and respectful to people and property. Do not cross over a rented site without permission. Be mindful of your neighbors’ quiet enjoyment of his/her tenancy.

Liability: River Vista RV Village is not responsible for any damage to property or injury to persons, on or off the premises.  You must maintain your own insurance on all vehicles and contents.  

 

Resort Management reserves the right to remove any person(s) who create disturbances, do not abide by the rules presented here or are deemed to be a threat to others. This document supersedes all previous rules and is effective January 1, 2022.
