Local Area Fishing

Nestled perfectly between the Seven Mile Bridge of Marathon Key and iconic Key West, is the gem of the Lower Keys. This ideal location provides anglers with access to both the Gulf of Mexico and incredible offshore fishing to the south. There are three keys within a stone’s throw of Big Pine Key Resort (aka BPKFL): Big Mangrove, Little Don Quixote Key, and No Name Key. All are within a quick boating distance of one another and offer great opportunities for a variety of sport fishing. You can fish for tarpon, snook, barracuda, snappers, and some big sharks. On the Gulf of Mexico side, you will find the likes of the Goliath groupers, cobia, and king mackerel.
