Sunset Beach Concert Series in Tarpon Springs

© Tarpon Springs Recreation

When you stay at The Meadows or Sun Valley in Tarpon Springs, you can anticipate a most enjoyable community event. On the first Thursday evening of every month from February through November, the city hosts a free concert on the beach. The bands usually take a break during the sunset, so concertgoers can give the colorful display in the sky their full attention and take pictures. In addition, the concerts coincide with the full moon, which makes watching the moonlight glimmering on the water entrancing. You could search the world over and likely not find a more beautiful venue for a music performance.

Parking is limited, but a courtesy shuttle will transport people to and from Tarpon Springs High School, located at 1411 Gulf Road, to the beach. Snacks and beverages may be purchased from concessions. Hours are from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
