Holiday RV Village Delivers a Lifestyle as Sweet as Spring

Spring is in the Air

Holiday’s palms gently sway in the breeze as a couple enjoys the pool all to themselves.

Holiday RV Village, located on a gorgeous chain of lakes in Central Florida, is the reason we love Spring. The lovely climate beckons you outdoors to enjoy the delightful activities offered daily. Average daily temperatures span from 70 to 87 degrees F, in these perfect couple of spring months. With weather as wonderful as this, here’s your opportunity to take advantage of all the events hosted in and around the community. We’ll help you get started by adding these events to your social calendar:

Leesburg Art Fest 2020
Take in all the artists, their work, and be truly inspired at the Leesburg Art Festival.

On March 13 and 14, head down to Main Street in the historic downtown district to bask in the sunshine while browsing through beautiful masterpieces at the Leesburg Art Fest 2020. Aside from paintings, you’ll see ceramics, jewelry, and sculpture, as well as crafts and photography. While you’re here, drop into some shops and grab a bite at one of the restaurants.

BBQ-Blues and Brew
Mouthwatering barbecue awaits.

The following Saturday, March 21, join the locals at the Towne Square for some mouthwatering eats at the BBQ-Blues and Brew. Listen to a concert as you savor ribs, chicken or brisket served up by backyard barbeque teams competing for the award of first place. Entertainment is free, and the hours are from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Leesburg Bikefest
Grab your leather riding gear for Bike Fest!

Those who love the high-octane excitement of motorcycles won’t want to miss Bikefest on April 24 to 26. In addition to bike shows and stunt shows, it will include a myriad of vendors and concerts performed by 60 bands. The expected hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Night Market
The reoccurring Night Market is the best way to take advantage of the lovely weather and to support local.

On the first and third Friday evenings of every month, it’s fun to go to the Night Market on the corner of Magnolia and 4th Street. You can meet new people while shopping for unique gifts. Reviewers say they loved seeing the variety, uniqueness, and craftsmanship of all artisanal goods and products offered. You can pick up fresh produce, homemade herb pasta, treats from the Pickled Princess and more.  The hours are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

You’re Home at Holiday

Rehearsals are well underway for Cove’s Got Talent preliminary show at Holiday RV Village.

There are always activities to excite the imagination right here at Holiday RV Village. Don’t miss a great dinner and a big show by Re-Creation, a touring group providing a sincere tribute to our veteran heroes. A family-style meal will be served before the show in the activity center: your choice of entree with all the sides you could desire – as well as dessert. Color Me America is on February 12 at 5 pm.

Cove’s Got Talent!

One of the most exciting highlights happening on March 7th is the Cove’s Got Talent Show. It’s high-stakes as the winner gets a $250 prize and a chance to compete in the finale on March 25 at Cove Communities’ sister property in Sarasota. Prizes awarded at the finale will include $2,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place and $500 for third place. It will be very exciting to take part or just be in the audience to cheer on friends and purely enjoy the show.
