A love of nature is ingrained in every Mainer. And to most of us, camping means finding a secluded area and pitching a tent or parking an RV. However, various occasions in life call for a more elevated experience. Point Sebago boasts an expansive 775-acres with a mile of beach and plenty of room to spread out in nature. And don’t you fret when it comes to food—whatever you’re craving this summer, we have it at Point Sebago Resort. Here’s what you need to know about your 2020 dining options and how to be ready to grub in the great state of Maine.
While all of our cottages, cabins, and vacation homes offer equipped kitchens; we have dining options here on property to keep your vacation seamless and safe. After a long day of activities and relaxation at the beach, we want you to remain stress-free when it’s time to eat. Our lakeside resort is home to these dining options ready for you when you make your way to camp. This summer is, in many ways, like starting over – we’ve refreshed our menus and revitalized recipes and cleaning methods – all with you in mind. Point Sebago Restaurant, Lounge, Beach Grill, and brand new Mexican Food Truck are open for take-out and outdoor dining.
This highly anticipated addition to Point Sebago is located across from Sebago Square. It is operated by the Chaves-Lomas family who also own the A La Mexicana restaurants in Raymond and Bridgton, ME. The food is truly so fresh and this style of cuisine is perfect after a long day of play! But just don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what A La Mexicana customers have to say:
“ 05/01/2020 – Doug
Originally from the Boston area, this Mexican food is the best we have ever had. The staff is so friendly. Always feel welcome here.”
“ 05/30/2020 – Debbie
Excellent food, great portions, yummy margaritas”
The full menu can be ordered and picked up at the window (in person).
We recommend grabbing your food at the Beach Grill located on Sebago Square. Whatever the time of day, you’ll be able to enjoy your meal in the great outdoors. Grab breakfast-to-go on the weekends, and starting in July, you will find breakfast served from 8am to 11am daily. If you’ve had a long day and the hunger pangs are starting to set in, may we suggest ordering pizza and wings straight to your site? And most importantly, head to the Beach Grill for everyone’s favorite treat—the ice cream!
Located directly on the executive golf course, this is your spot for burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, french fries, sodas, and beers. Why wait until after the game? Order at the 9th Tee Box and find your food warm and your beers cold, ready for you right when you finish at the 18th hole. We promise you’ll be nice and full after your round. Point Sebago’s golf course is continuing to host golf leagues, tournaments, and other activities—while keeping with state distancing regulations. The 19th Hole caters specialty meals to each of these events.
Need one more egg for your banana pancakes recipe? How about more firewood for s’mores night? We’ve got you what you need at The General Store. You will find groceries, pastries, coffee, beer, fine wines, and more. Be sure to check out the clothing options and souvenir gifts to take home as well. The general store is open daily, for your convenience.
A huge fan favorite at Point Sebago and located at the Beach Pavilion, the Tiki Bar is getting ready to serve up the cocktail of your choice. Due to the state-mandated guidelines, we are aiming to have the Tiki Bar open by Friday, June 20th. The same pizza and appetizer menu that is available for delivery only from the beach grill is available in person here at the Tiki Bar.
