1. Where can I find the information about the monthly lot fees?

Monthly lot fee information is available by calling our office or visiting us.

2. Are pets allowed at The Meadows?

Yes. We do have certain breed restrictions.

3. I’m 50 and my husband is 55, can we purchase a home at The Meadows?

Yes, the primary owner of the home must be at least 55 years of age.

4. What does The Meadows lifestyle offer?

Residents have full access to all of the resort-style amenities and resort sponsored activities and no community HOA fees or resort fees, everything is included in the monthly lot rent. You will be living with friendly neighbors and have the support of your Village management team.

4. Is The Meadows a land lease community

Yes, The Meadows is a land lease community. Purchasing in a land lease community provides you the peace-of-mind that you own your own home, but you don’t have to spend the money on buying the land and paying the large annual real estate taxes typically associated with living in destination and high demand areas. This type of lifestyle also provides you an opportunity to purchase a beautifully appointed vacation home or year round home, while freeing up money so that you can make the most of this new lifestyle choice.

5. Do you pay property tax on leased land at The Meadows?

At The Meadows a small pass through property tax is included in your monthly lot rental fee, so you do not have any large tax bills to pay semi-annually.

6. Can I rent my home?

You can rent out your home. You will need the operator’s written permission to do so before entering into a site agreement and the renters have to comply with the terms and conditions set out in the agreement signed by the home owner. These include caring for the premises and reporting the need for any repairs and maintenance, paying utility bills on time, not using the premises for illegal purposes and not interfering with the peace, comfort or privacy of neighbors.

7. Is there an HOA?

There is no community ownership-run HOA at The Meadows. There is an independent resident HOA group that organizes and runs a number of activities and events in addition to community sponsored activities.
